Terms & Conditions
Rules that govern use of this website and related inquiries.
These Terms govern your use of our Website only. Coal supply, pricing, delivery and other commercial transactions are governed by separate written agreements between SHCC and the buyer, not by this page alone.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using shcc.co.in (the “Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
The Website is operated by Shree Hari Coal Corporation (“SHCC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), with registered office at 314, International Business Center, Next to Big Bazaar, Piplod, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India.
2. Eligibility & International Access
The Website is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and who use it for lawful business or professional purposes. By using the Website, you represent that you meet these requirements and have authority to bind any organization on whose behalf you act.
The Website may be accessed from outside India. You are responsible for compliance with local laws that apply to you. Access from jurisdictions where the Website or its content is restricted or unlawful is at your own risk.
3. About Our Business
SHCC is an importer, wholesaler and trader of coal. Content on the Website is provided for general information about our company, products, ports, logistics, clients and careers.
Unless expressly confirmed in a separate written commercial agreement signed or formally accepted by SHCC, nothing on the Website constitutes a binding offer, quotation, contract of sale, agency relationship, partnership, or joint venture.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, forms, or data.
- Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory information or content.
- Upload malware, viruses, or material that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Scrape, harvest, crawl, or use automated means to collect content or contact details without our prior written consent.
- Interfere with security features, reCAPTCHA, or the proper functioning of the Website.
- Use the Website in violation of applicable export-control, sanctions, anti-bribery, or trade laws.
5. Inquiries & Commercial Terms
Submitting an inquiry through the Contact Us form, email, phone, or WhatsApp does not create a contract of sale. Prices, coal grades, quantities, specifications, delivery schedules, payment terms and all commercial conditions are subject to availability, internal approval and a separate written agreement between SHCC and the buyer.
We may decline, delay, or ignore inquiries that appear incomplete, abusive, spam, unrelated to our business, or inconsistent with our compliance policies.
6. Trade, Regulatory & Compliance
Coal trading is subject to applicable Indian and international laws, including import/export, customs, environmental, safety and sanctions regulations. Website content is not legal, tax, customs, or compliance advice.
Buyers and counterparties are solely responsible for ensuring that any purchase, import, use, resale, or end-use of coal complies with all applicable laws, permits and end-user requirements in their jurisdiction. SHCC may refuse or terminate dealings where required by law or internal compliance policy.
7. Careers & Applications
Job listings describe opportunities that may change, be filled, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Submitting an application does not guarantee review, interview, or employment.
You confirm that all information and documents you submit (including resumes) are accurate, current, and that you have the right to share them with us. Unsolicited or inappropriate submissions may be deleted without response.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, trade names, text, graphics, photographs, layout and other content on the Website are owned by SHCC or used under licence. “SHCC”, “Shree Hari Coal Corporation” and related branding are protected. Unauthorised use may violate applicable law.
You may view and print pages for personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, frame, mirror, or commercially exploit Website content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by mandatory law.
9. Accuracy & No Reliance
We aim to keep product descriptions, port information, client references and other content accurate and current. However, specifications, availability, market conditions and logistics can change without notice.
You must independently verify all critical details with our team before making commercial decisions. Images, samples and descriptions are illustrative unless expressly confirmed in a formal written quotation or contract. You agree not to rely on the Website as the sole basis for any commercial, financial, or legal decision.
10. Third-Party Services & Links
The Website may embed or link to third-party services (including Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or other platforms). Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies. SHCC does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the Website will be error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Commercial coal supply is governed solely by written contracts between the parties, not by Website content alone.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SHCC and its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Website shall not exceed INR 10,000 (Indian Rupees ten thousand) or the amount you paid us solely for access to the Website in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, whichever is greater — typically nil for general visitors.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SHCC and its directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Website; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights; or (d) information or content you submit through the Website.
14. Privacy & Electronic Communications
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting forms or contacting us electronically, you consent to receive responses by email, phone, or other channels you provide and you acknowledge that electronic communications may not always be secure.
15. Suspension & Termination

16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing Website-related obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, government actions, power or internet failures, or failures of third-party hosting or service providers.
17. General Provisions

- Severability — If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver — Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.

18. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Your continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
19. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws.
Subject to mandatory consumer or other non-waivable rights under applicable local law, the courts at Surat, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Website. You consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
